Simbu pairs with Vedika ...
Shooting for the film Kaala directed by Tharun Gopi with Simbu as the hero was taken in Pondicherry for a week. There was a delay in the heroine selection as many of the top heroines in the Tamil film industry refused to act with Simbu.
Only after the 1st schedule of the film, was Vedhika booked as the heroine. Fight scenes were filmed in Pondicherry. Other star casts in the film include Hindi actress Rekha and Sangeetha. Rekha comes as Simbu’s grandmother and Sangeetha as his aunt. Selection is on for other characters.
