Kandasamy will be launched on September 17 in a grand style, at the newly renovated Devi Complex (Anna Salai). All the superstars and megastars of Kollywood and Tollywood will be invited (Kandasamy is a bilingual film) for the launch.As already told, the invitation card itself will cost a whopping Rs 11,000! It will be a 48-page album size card, and for the first time in India a mini LCD player is also attached with the invite and will show the special trailer of Kandasamy, made for the occasion with a voice over by Vikram.Shreya is the female lead of the film. The actress's seductive appearance in the stills justifies the payment offered to her by the producer (hold your breath for a while... it is Rs.80 lakhs!). Devi Sri Prasad has scored the music first time for a Vikram starrer film.
The shooting of Kandasamy will start from the next day of the launch, i.e., from Sep 18th in Chennai. After a week's shooting, the crew will fly off to South Africa to shoot the important portions of the film.
