Protest against BIG FM !!
The audio of Tamil M.A was released last month. But, the BIG MUSIC Company which has got the rights to sell that in the market did not start its proceedings for the last one month. Director Ram started the protestation only when the situation raised that the CD’s have not come still to the market for selling.Ram started to protest along with his assistant directors at 9 am itself. Both Dhanush and Yuvan together arrived to the spot exactly at 10 O’clock. This movie is an 8 year tamil ma dharnadream for the director. Dhanush blasted saying that, is this the situation for a movie which is titled as Tamil in Tamil Nadu itself. He, who stayed there only for 10 minutes, immediately took Yuvan along with him and departed. Since the hero of this movie Jeeva who is at present at Kumbakoonam for the shooting of another movie, he was unable to attend this protestation. Mansoor Ali Khan participated even without an invitation. (Tamil is united?)
In between this, the BIG MUSIC’s Chennai branch Proprietor has asked them to withdraw this protestation (Unnaviradham & Dharna). They raised a question to him, what is the reason for not selling the Audio cassettes and CD’s in the market when it is almost a month since the audio release? How are you going to compensate the loss and refit our broken hearts which we bared for this whole month? You answer for all this in front of the media. “I will withdraw and stop this protestation” when director Ram told this and was stubborn, the agitation continued. Since the protestation took place without a prior notice or permission, the police was ready to arrest Ram including the Tamil M.A crew.
Immediately, when the Producer Union leader Rama. Narayanan and Secretary Sivasakthi Pandian heard about this, at once called Ram to come to the Producer Union board to speak about this issue and to come to a conclusion. After that Ram left to the Producer union. Before departing, he told the Press Reporters, my protestation (unnaviradham) will continue till the movie’s audio cassettes are sold in the market. He raspingly said that, I will continue my Unnaviradham even when I reach the producer union board. They have started discussing about this issue right from today (21/09/07) afternoon 1:30 pm. Will Tamil Succeed?
They made a change to the title of the movie Tamil M.A as ‘Kattradhu Tamizh’.
